I've been working on two WordPress projects. All I can say is WOW. I'm amazed at how far it has come. It is rapidly moving from a basic blogging tool to a full on CMS. The documentation is excellent and the API seams clean and intuitive from a developers perspective.

While I love the extensibility of Drupal, especially from a programmatic viewpoint, WordPress is becoming my tool of choice for smaller web projects. The interface is more intuitive and just looks slick. Now that Drupal has a commercial entity backing it (Acquia) I'm hoping some serious time money will be spent on UI improvements.
